The birthday of Regional Executive Director Narciso A. Edillo of Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office No. 02 (DA-RFO 02) yesterday was celebrated with the conduct of groundbreaking, bloodletting and tree planting activities.
In his message after DA-RFO 02 officials and employees had greeted him in the regional office compound, Edillo solicited everybody’s support in the realization of the mandate of the Department of Agriculture (DA).
“I can’t thank you enough for your greetings and wishes. But I will be more than happy and fulfilled if we all work together for the development of agriculture sector in Cagayan Valley,” he said.
“Let us continue to be efficient public servants by being humble, always ready to extend help to our clients and respectful to our partner stakeholders.”
The executive director spearheaded the groundbreaking of a two-story Technology Commercialization Center and bloodletting activity in the morning at regional office compound.
In the afternoon, he also led the tree planting at Southern Cagayan Experiment Station – Cagayan Breeding Station (SCRC-CBS), venue of the upcoming Grand Farm Carnival on March 27-29, 2019.
He was joined by DA-RFO 02 officials and employees coming from the regional office and research centers and experiment stations in a simple yet memorable celebration of his birthday that also featured group picture taking.
