Pinapayuhan ng Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office No. 02 (DA-RFO 02) ang mga suppliers at truckers ng mga agri-fishery products na gustong magkaroon ng food lane accreditation at sticker na makipag-ugnayan sa Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), Regional Government Center, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan o sa mga istasyon nito sa ibat-ibang probinsiya.
Ito ay upang mabigyan sila ng truck ban exemption, magkaroon ng food lane routes sa Metro Manila at iba pang tulong para mas mapabilis ang products delivery.
Ayon kay Regional Executive Director Narciso A. Edillo, bukas ang tanggapan at mayroong mga empleyado na nakahandang umalalay sa mga applicants sa kabila ng mga ipinapatupad na alituntunin sa ngayon laban sa COVID19.
“Kung kumpleto ang mga dokumento ay makukuha na ang certification at sticker sa loob lamang ng tatlumpong minuto,” aniya.
Sinabi nito na ang accreditation ay bukas sa mga suppliers ng bigas, gulay, prutas, livestock at poultry, frozen meat at processed food products, fertilizers at iba pang agricultural commodities.
“Sila dapat ay registered sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) o Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) at mayroong valid business permits sa delivery ng food and/or agricultural produce, products and/or inputs,” dagdag pa ng direktor.
Ang mga sumusunod na dokumento ay kailangang ipasa:
- Official Receipt (OR) of Registration, Certificate of Registration (CR) at picture ng sasakyan;
- Business Permit; at
- Filled-up forms (Foodlane Accreditation Application, Foodlane Preference at Statement of Commitment Forms).
Nilinaw din ni Edillo na ang mga magbibiahe ng mga buhay na hayop, karne, processed at canned products ay magpiprisinta pa rin ng mga kaukulang dokumento (clearances) mula sa Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) at Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Sa mga interesadong applikante, puede ring makipag-ugnayan sa mga research station ng DA-RFO 02:
- Northern Cagayan Experiment Station (NCES), Abulug, Cagayan;
- Southern Cagayan Research Center (SCRC), Iguig, Cagayan;
- Cagayan Valley Research Center (CVRC), San Felipe, City of Ilagan, Isabela;
- Isabela Experiment Station (IES), Gamu, Isabela;
- Nueva Vizcaya Experiment Station (NVES), Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya, at
- Quirino Experiment Station (QES), Aglipay, Quirino

Ang Food Lane program ay isinusulong ng DA sa pangunguna ni Secretary William D. Dar katuwang ang Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine National Police (PNP) at Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
Ito ay libre at tugon ng pamahalaan sa pagpapanatiling mabilis ang transportasyon at sapat ang pagkain sa iba’t-ibang lugar na apektado ngayon ng state of emergency.
