The Department of Agriculture Cagayan Valley Research Center (DA CVRC) conducted a Vegetable Grand Field Day as part of the Community Participatory Action Research program at Brgy. Simimbaan, Roxas, Isabela last August 23, 2019, the said activity was attended by Staff from DA-Regional Field Office No. 02 headed by Regional Technical Dir. for Research and Regulatory Rose Mary G. Aquino and LGU Roxas, Municipal Mayor Jose Jonathan Calderon.

The field day showcased the positive effect of the interventions with testimony from the farmers with the use of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and mixing of different vegetables in small parcel of the land, their income increased, but the best output was a Pesticide Safe Vegetables, encouraging other farmers to adopt the GAP-based farming to have a safe and healthy life.
