“WE are still ISO certified”

When the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office No. 02 (DA-RFO 02) got its first International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification in December 2017 from the Certification International Philippines, Inc., the agency knows where it is going.

This standard set by the ISO benefited the agency in looking, developing, and managing to better the quality management system of DA RFO 02.

Throughout the span of almost a year, DA and with its Quality Management System brought real and measurable benefits to everyone while ensuring the quality of every output and process.

Today, DA RFO 02 still holds the certification and the people behind this went beyond what is expected and worked so hard in bringing together to developing the highest international standard.

In an audit surveillance happened in November 13- 14, which was participated in by the DA RFO 02 staff headed by Regional Executive Director Narciso Edillo, internal auditors and the 14 divisions, and research centers the Certification International Philippines (CIP), Inc., confirmed DA RFO 02 its continuous registration as an ISO certified after a thorough audit.

Marlon Campued, CIP lead auditor, congratulated the agency in holding its certification.

Regional Technical Director for Research and Regulatory Rose Mary Aquino thanked the employees with their perseverance and valuable suggestions during the preparation of the said event.

“If there were no cooperations, this milestone would not be achieved. To all the people behind this let us continue to set a high standard by giving our best efforts and dedication at all times”, she said.
