To establish a shared understanding of the New Financial Arrangement under PRDP Scale-Up, the Regional Project Coordination Office 02, led by the Finance Unit, held a two-day Training-Workshop on Financial Management Operation Guidelines on February 19–20, 2026, at Hotel Carmelita Events Place in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The workshop aims to capacitate participants to properly record financial transactions—from documentation and reporting to monitoring and compliance requirements.

It also seeks to collaboratively develop practical strategies to fast-track the disbursement of subprojects while maintaining transparency, accountability, and accuracy.

Representing the Regional Executive Director, Mr. Joselyn P. Bosito, OIC Chief of the DA RFO 2 Finance and Administrative Division and Head of the PRDP RPCO 2 Procurement Unit, emphasized in his message that efficient financial processes mean faster delivery of services and benefits to communities.

Atty. Pamela Kate L. Vallangca, Regional Accountant, and Mr. Dheejay R. Cabasal, Finance Analyst I, served as resource persons.

The training was participated in by the Municipal Local Government Units (LGUs) of Alicia, Isabela; Camalaniugan, Cagayan; and the Provincial LGUs of Quirino and Isabela.
