The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 2 (DA RFO2) has officially turned over 31 heifers and one bull to the Local Government Unit of Aurora, Isabela, at the LGU Cattle Farm in Macatal.

This initiative, part of the Livelihood Economic Enterprise Development Program, aims to enhance local cattle multiplier farms and promote sustainable farming practices.

“This will boost cattle production in this district of Isabela and boost the cattle industry in Aurora,” Dr. Giovanni Tumaliuan, Agriculturist II of the Livestock Program of DA RFO 2 remarked.

“This is a big help for Aurora. We are committed to improving production through better management, training for integration with other agricultural sectors such as coconut, and efforts to increase local cattle inventory,” Mayor Joseph Christian G. Uy said.
