The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office No. 2 (DA-RFO 02) proudly announces the promotions of several dedicated and high-performing employees from various divisions, reflecting the agency’s commitment to recognizing excellence and fostering professional growth within its workplace.
From the Field of Operations Division (FOD), Mr. Marvin B. Luis has been promoted to Development Management Officer V, while Mr. Ryan A. Mirasol has advanced to the position of Agriculturist II. Both have demonstrated outstanding service and leadership in ensuring the successful implementation of agricultural programs in the region.
Representing the Isabela Experiment Station (IES), Ms. Jacqueline Z. Gumiran has been elevated to Agricultural Center Chief III, a recognition of her exemplary management and contribution to the research and development initiative that advance the region’s agricultural productivity.
From the Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Information Section (RAFIS), Ms. Jhoana M. Bassig, the concurrent Chief of RAFIS, has been promoted to Information III, and Ms. Barby L. Balcita to Information Officer II. Their dedication to effective information dissemination to public communication continues to strengthen DA-RFO 02’s visibility and engagement with its farmers and stakeholders.
Meanwhile, from the Agri-Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), Ms. Emilyn A. Baculi has been promoted to Agriculturist II, in recognition of her contributions to agricultural marketing and enterprise development across the region.
Regional Executive Director Rose Mary G. Aquino commended the newly promoted employees for their commitment and professionalism, emphasizing that their promotion serves as a challenge for the entire workforce to further enhance the delivery and responsiveness of DA RFO 02’s services for farmers and fisherfolk across the Cagayan Valley Region.
