A fourth monolithic dome will soon be completed in Cagayan Valley Region this end of May 2019.
Worth P4.9M with an area of 12×15 square meters and can accommodate 3,000 bags of farm inputs, the warehouse dome is located at Abut, Quezon, Isabela with Epiphany MPC as the recipient.
A total of eight units being funded under CY 2018 funds of DA Regional Field Office No. 02 are expected to be finished within the year.
Two units are already completed at Villaverde Development Cooperative, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino Experiment Station, Aglipay, Quirino.
Last March 2019, DA Secretary Emmanuel F. Pinol led the inauguration of the country’s first ever monolithic dome worth P10M which can withstand a typhoon signal no. 5 at DA-Southern Cagayan Research Center, Iguig, Cagayan.
